Do you want to work with highly specialized care in a competent and positive team? With us, you are offered a varied, exciting, fun, and meaningful job where you make a difference and create security for the patient.
Job Responsibilities
At the dialysis clinic, you are welcome to a workplace with stimulating and challenging tasks. As a nurse with us, you work with preparing and carrying out prescribed treatment, monitoring, providing nursing care and medical treatment, as well as documenting performed treatment. You also work with patient education so that our patients feel involved and take responsibility for their own treatment. This means you support and instruct patients who wish to participate in their treatment, for example by inserting their own needles.
The work also offers continuity as you, as a nurse, also work as the primary nurse for two to three patients. As the primary nurse, you have the opportunity to follow and plan the patient's care and treatment over a longer period.
About the Workplace
The Medicine Clinic in Köping has three internal medicine wards. These have different medical focuses such as cardiology, blood, gastrointestinal, and an acute stroke unit with rehabilitation. We also have an urgent care clinic, a cardiac intensive care unit, and a dialysis clinic. The medicine clinic has, in addition to the doctor's clinic, several specialized nurse clinics. Occupational therapists, social workers, and physiotherapists are gathered in the Rehabilitation Unit. The dialysis clinic performs approximately 4,200 treatments/year and has a nurse-led renal failure clinic. It is a workplace characterized by a favorable mix of experience where some have worked for a long time and others for a shorter time. The staff cares for each other and everyone contributes with their competence. With us, you are allowed to be new to the job; you always have close access to your colleagues and always someone to ask for advice when needed. We offer a long introduction that is also individualized, meaning the introduction period can become longer or shorter depending on your needs and previous experience. We work with rotation between patients and can also offer a rotation position towards the medicine ward if it is of interest. We offer working hours with day and evening shifts that give good time for recovery between work shifts. This provides the possibility of a good balance between work and leisure and also enables good commuting opportunities. We have many among us who commute, and they state that it works very well. When the work shift is finished, you go home from work without having to hand over to anyone else.
Our working hours are daytime 07:00–15:30, evening time 11:00–19:30. Weekend shifts are scheduled for daytime 07:00–15:00, only Saturdays and two weekends out of five.
Our employees are our most important resource and we want you to thrive, feel good, and develop with us, and therefore we offer you:
- An adapted introduction program so that you become secure and safe in your professional role.
- Opportunities for competence development through, for example, internal training.
- A workplace for different stages of life, with the possibility of flexible working hours within certain frameworks.
- Free training in our fully equipped gym.
- A wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK/year.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-insight.
