RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in the evening patrol within home care in Sjöbo Municipality, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you contribute to our customers being able to live a safe and independent life in their own homes. You meet people with different needs and life situations, where your attitude, competence, and engagement make a big difference. The work involves a high degree of independence while you are an important part of an engaged team that collaborates to provide our customers with good care.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Providing personal care, such as support with hygiene, dressing and undressing, meals, and transfers.
• Performing delegated health and medical care interventions according to current routines.
• Supporting customers in daily activities and contributing to creating safety, participation, and well-being.
• Documenting and following up on interventions according to implementation plans and current legislation.
• Collaborating with colleagues, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and other professionals to ensure good and safe care.

The working hours are 37 hours per week (full-time) scheduled for evening shifts, including duty every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and want to make a difference for our customers by providing safe, professional, and person-centered care. You enjoy working independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a good attitude when meeting customers, relatives, and colleagues.

Requirements for the position:

• Nursing assistant education with a protected professional title
• Category B driver's license
• Cycling proficiency
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

The following is meritorious:

• Experience working in home care
• Previous delegation of health and medical tasks
• Experience working evening shifts within healthcare and care

As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and confident in making your own decisions. Since the work in the evening patrol largely involves independent work, it is important that you can plan and prioritize your interventions while contributing to good collaboration within the work group.
