In Region Örebro, there are three general pediatric clinics: Örebro/Hallsberg (located on Stora Holmen), Karlskoga, and Lindesberg. Decision-making paths are short, and there is close collaboration with a strong team spirit.

At the clinics, doctors, pediatric nurses, assistant nurses, and medical care administrators work together.

The clinics have a well-developed collaboration with primary care and other actors involved in child health. There is an opportunity for individual and flexible arrangements of medical positions with various combinations of clinical work, research, and other pediatric subspecialties such as allergology.

The research activity within the area of operations is high, which means there are good opportunities to conduct research and development.

At our general pediatric clinics, the work involves investigation, treatment, and follow-up of conditions such as asthma, allergies, obesity, growth disorders, celiac disease, and pain issues. The position includes mentoring younger colleagues as well as teaching and supervising medical students. On-call duties may also be relevant.

Chief Physician or Specialist in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, preferably with experience from general pediatrics. Good collaboration skills, flexibility, and a drive to develop the operations are qualities we value. Personal suitability is given great consideration.

Full-time. Start date according to agreement. Position as Chief Physician or Specialist Physician based on competence.

Within the area of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, we conduct broad pediatric operations and have good competence in many subspecialty areas. Here you will find a neonatal unit, a pediatric ward for children and adolescents with both medical and surgical conditions, a mobile pediatric team, a Child and Adolescent Clinic, day care, and three pediatric general practice clinics. At the Child and Adolescent Clinic, dietitians, counselors, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, teachers, and play therapists work in close collaboration with each other and with other healthcare staff. The operation has just over 240 employees.
