We are now looking for a nurse who wishes to work in an exciting and developmental area. Now is your chance to come and work with us at the endoscopy clinic! Our work group consists of a competent team of doctors, nurses, and assistant nurses. The atmosphere is positive and we have a strong sense of community where everyone is an important part of the team. Here, the patient is in focus and a genuine interest in continuous improvement is seen as a matter of course! We also have close cooperation with the Gastroenterology and Liver Clinic.

The tasks at the clinic include several different moments and as a nurse with us, you will learn something new every day! We perform acute and planned examinations such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies. We also perform more advanced endoscopy and nurse-led clinic visits. Your tasks will be to assist during examinations, administer medication, and monitor patients during and after the examination. A large part of the work also consists of counseling and information, both to patients and to other healthcare providers. You work with technical equipment and we offer you, as a nurse, developmental and challenging tasks!

You who apply must be a Registered Nurse with a few years of experience. Furthermore, we want you to have good cooperation skills, social competence, and a great commitment. We see that you are open to changes and have the ability to work under varying workloads. We value personal suitability highly.

The Medical Operations Area is one of the university hospital's largest and is organizationally divided into five sections; endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, and general internal medicine. Here, patients are treated with, among other things, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, blood diseases, kidney diseases, as well as patients who need acute internal medicine care, often elderly and multi-morbid patients. Each section has an outpatient clinic. There are also three wards for inpatients here.
