We now have the opportunity to expand our team with more nurses on Ward 26. Therefore, we are looking for you who are interested in working within our fantastic pediatric care in a varied and educational work environment.

Ward 26 is a care ward with 18 beds for children and adolescents with medical or surgical conditions. The department has a wide scope, encompassing both care for chronically ill children and children with short-term healthcare needs.

As a nurse with us, you will work with nursing care, observation, sample collection, and treatment, as well as other standard nursing duties on the care ward. We collaborate closely with doctors and assistant nurses, and maintain contact with other professional categories.

On Ward 26, you will work with children of various ages, based on family-centered care, which implies close collaboration with the child's parents or guardians.

We are keen on providing high-quality care and want to be characterized by good treatment, kindness, and consideration.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. A specialist nurse in pediatrics or experience working with children is an advantage.

On Ward 26, both pediatric specialist nurses and general nurses work. If you are a general nurse, you will receive a permanent employment within healthcare with placement on Ward 26.

Opportunities for paid further education are available.

Within the area of child and adolescent medicine, we conduct a broad pediatric practice and have good competence in many subspecialty areas. Here you will find a neonatal ward, a pediatric care ward for children and adolescents with both medical and surgical conditions, a mobile pediatric team, a child and adolescent clinic, day care, and three outpatient pediatric clinics. At the Child and Adolescent Clinic, dietitians, counselors, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, teachers, and play therapists work in close collaboration with each other and with other healthcare staff. The department has over 200 employees.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the county's three emergency hospitals where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education.
