Job Description
As a nurse in Karlskoga Municipality, you are responsible for medical interventions in special housing, ordinary housing, or within LSS/psychiatry. You work with standard healthcare tasks such as assessments, follow-ups, medication management, documentation, and end-of-life care. You are part of one of our three teams (North, West, or East), collaborating closely with colleagues. The role as a nurse in the municipality is varied, educational, and exciting, offering the chance to work both independently and in a team.
The working hours consist of day shifts with weekend duty every sixth weekend. You work every sixth Christmas and every sixth New Year.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse or registered nurse.
You are a good role model in your leadership and supervisory role, open to change, and work with a strong patient focus, making decisions regarding patients' needs and wishes. Quality, good treatment, and collaboration are key success factors in our operations. It is natural for you to base these principles in interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
Further education relevant to the operations and experience from similar work are meritorious.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A driver's license and driving experience are required.
