RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication is an important part of Ronneby Municipality's development. We want to create understanding, engagement, and dialogue with residents, businesses, employees, and visitors. We are now looking for a fixed-term communicator who wants to contribute to developing our internal and external communication. The position is a six-month temporary assignment, which may potentially lead to a permanent employment.

Here, you will work closely with operations, managers, and leadership on issues that affect people's daily lives. You will become an important part of the municipality's communication work, developing our place and employer brand, and contributing to an open, accessible, and modern municipality.

Your Role

As a communicator, you work primarily operationally, but the role also includes some strategic elements. One moment you act as support for a manager or department, the next you produce content for the web, social media, or other communication channels.

You will have a broad assignment where you plan, execute, and follow up on communication initiatives across the entire municipality.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Plan, produce, and publish content for the web, intranet, and social media.
• Provide communication support to managers and operations.
• Coordinate and implement communication initiatives related to the municipality's operations and development work.
• Write articles, press releases, and informational materials.
• Act as communication support in the work with the place and employer brand.
• Follow up and evaluate communication initiatives to develop methods and results.
• Work with environmental scanning and identify relevant communication needs.
• Provide communication support during unplanned events and crisis situations.

We would like you to be curious about new communication forms, digital development, and how new technology can contribute to making communication more effective, accessible, and tailored to target groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your Competence and Experience

You have an academic degree in communication, journalism, media, or another area that the employer deems equivalent.

You have experience in communication work and feel confident in giving advice, planning communication initiatives, and producing content yourself for different target groups and channels. You have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Furthermore, you have good digital skills and experience working in digital communication channels and social media.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Communication work within public operations or other complex organizations.
• Digital communication channels and publishing tools.
• Press and media contacts.
• Crisis communication.

About the Position

Fixed-term employment (temporary assignment) with start date September 1, 2026, or as agreed. The temporary assignment runs until March 30, 2027. After the temporary assignment ends, there may be an opportunity for continued employment.
