About the role

Our client develops customized solutions that unlock the full potential of existing data. Through efficient collection, structuring, entry, and visualization of data on their proprietary platform, the organization receives quality-assured data that enables more efficient processes and better decision-making.

The future looks bright for the company, and for this reason, they are now bringing in another developer. There are ten colleagues in total in Stockholm, all working in or close to development. In this role, you will work closely with your customers, but even closer to their data. It is important that you thrive in an interactive role where you are social and present in dialogues and discussions.

Responsibilities

As a database developer for our client, you will work together with one or two colleagues on a project. You will work on a project basis, often handling two companies simultaneously to be as efficient as possible.

A typical work week often starts with a meeting with the client, together with your team, to specify a new function to be developed or an existing one to be improved. Then, you create a joint plan for how to proceed, after which the work begins on developing/updating various database functions and surrounding programs. All solutions developed for the client are built on your own platform, and most programming takes place in Microsoft SQL Server. You will also create user interfaces in CMS tools, design reports in SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI, as well as build analysis cubes in SQL Server Analysis Services.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience from previous roles in programming relational databases using SQL and T-SQL
• Is skilled in programming in one or more programming languages
• Has worked with the entire process from quote to cash
• Languages: Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We believe that you, applying for this position, have worked as a database developer or database administrator (DBA) for at least 2-3 years to fit well into the role.

It is an advantage if you have

• Post-secondary education in IT, such as computer science or computer engineering
• Experience working with PowerBI and QlikSense to transform and visualize data
• Previous experience working as a consultant and being accustomed to taking responsibility for the work you perform
