ABOUT BAEMINGO

Baemingo is building the restaurant industry's financial operating system – a platform that brings together POS systems, payments, analytics tools, and financial services in one place.

Their idea is simple: give every restaurant owner the right tools, the right data, and the right financial support to grow their business. One restaurant becomes two. Two becomes ten.

The company was founded in Stockholm in 2017 and currently consists of approximately 35 employees. They help over 4,000 restaurants across five countries and have been recognized on Deloitte Sweden's Technology Fast 50 list. The platform is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs – one of their founders still runs their own restaurant, meaning the product is tested in the real world every day, not just in a conference room.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Baemingo is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer who wants to take end-to-end responsibility for features throughout the entire development chain – from APIs to user interfaces – and work across the entire platform.

One week you might be developing the POS system used daily by thousands of restaurants. The next week, you'll work on payments, analytics features, back-office systems, banking services, or AI functionality. You work where you can make the biggest impact.

You will become part of a small, experienced development team with a short path from idea to production, working closely with the company's CTO. Here, you are expected to take ownership of your solutions, deliver high-quality work, and take responsibility even after features have been launched.

WHAT YOU WILL BUILD

Critical Business Systems for Restaurants
You develop the software that restaurants use every day, such as POS systems, internal tools, and dashboards. The goal is for the technology to work so smoothly that users hardly notice it.

Financial Services
You work on solutions within payments, banking services, lending, cards, and onboarding – systems that handle real payment flows for thousands of businesses.

AI Functionality
AI is an integrated part of the product. You will help develop agent-based AI solutions and analytics features that learn from thousands of restaurants, rather than just integrating a traditional chatbot.

You don't need to know every technology from day one. However, we are looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed with new technologies and tools.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Have approximately five years or more of experience developing modern web applications
• Have deep experience in both frontend development (React/TypeScript) and backend development (Node.js, APIs, and databases)
• Have experience with GraphQL or feel confident learning it quickly
• Enjoy taking ownership of a feature all the way, from idea and requirements to a finished solution in production
• Want to contribute to the team's technical development and share your knowledge
• Have excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Have the possibility to work on-site at our office in Stockholm

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• Multiple product areas such as POS, payments, analytics, fintech, or internal business systems
• Practical work with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, or evaluating AI models
• Payment solutions or other regulated businesses
• Design and user experience, as well as the ability to turn a design sketch or idea into a polished product
