About Us

Capio BUP Falun provides specialist psychiatric outpatient care for children and young people on behalf of the Region of Dalarna. We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment for children and adolescents with mental health issues and neuropsychiatric disabilities. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the patient, guardians, schools, social services, and other healthcare providers when necessary.

We place great emphasis on highly accessible, secure, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. The clinic is characterized by teamwork, short decision-making paths, and a shared responsibility for quality, patient safety, and development.

Your Role

As a specialist doctor with us, you play a central role in the medical assessment and treatment of our patients. You work closely with other professions and contribute your specialist competence to both patient care and the continued development of the practice.

• Psychiatric assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning for children and adolescents.
• Medical treatment and structured medication follow-up.
• Neuropsychiatric investigations and assessment of complex psychiatric problems.
• Collaboration with guardians, schools, social services, primary care, habilitation services, and other healthcare providers.
• Contributions to quality assurance, patient safety work, development of working methods, and medical routines.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physician with specialist competence in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and/or Psychiatry.
• Has a genuine interest in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and wants to contribute to secure care for children, young people, and families.
• Is confident in your professional role and enjoys working interdisciplinary.
• Has good communication skills, can build trust, and collaborate with patients, guardians, and external actors.
