Always with our feet on the ground and our hearts in the right place. The District Veterinarians are part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

Welcome to Mora!

In Mora, we work together to develop and take care of our fantastic customers in the beautiful nature of Dalarna. Our operations consist largely of small animals, but we also see great development potential in field operations. The team consists of ten veterinarians and seven animal caretakers/veterinary nurses.

We are careful to ensure that all employees thrive, have a good time at work, and get to develop. You are important to us – here we help each other, we back you up 100 percent, and we are happy when you want to learn new things. Our group is mixed with many competent colleagues, several of whom have long experience in the profession; for example, we have one of the senior small animal veterinarians in our team.

If you want competent and happy colleagues, personal development, variety in your profession, and perhaps the best customers in the country, then we are the right choice for you!

1 position(s).

Job Responsibilities

As a veterinarian at the District Veterinarians in Mora, we can offer a learning environment where there are many experienced colleagues to bounce ideas off of. You will work with both small animals in our clinic and large animals in the field. If you have special competence or a special interest, we would love to highlight it in the best possible way.

On-call duty is a natural part of the position for all animal species and is part of the District Veterinarians' mandate. Adapted scheduling allows for recovery time around worked on-call shifts.

We are a relatively small clinic, so you need to be flexible and self-reliant, open, and not afraid to step up where needed. Since a large part of our operations consists of emergency care, no two days are alike. We require excellent teamwork skills as we solve the clinic's tasks together in the best possible way.

We are a clinic that constantly wants to improve and develop together. You will become a natural part of a resource that contributes to positive development and, with drive, leads the development toward set goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Swedish veterinary license or are an acting veterinarian and will soon complete your education. Previous experience in the profession is meritorious, as is the desire to develop within both small animal and field operations.

We want you to be engaged and solution-oriented to work for the best of the team toward common goals. You are accommodating and attentive in your interactions to create a good customer meeting and give the customer a good experience with us.

Since our operations partly consist of emergency care, a good eye for prioritization and planning of work is required to create a good flow in the workday. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, social competence, and are looking for an employee who values good cooperation and contributes to a team spirit.

As we have ambulatory operations in the field, a Category B driver's license is a requirement.

Good knowledge of Swedish and good computer skills are also basic requirements.

We conduct ongoing selection and interviews, so do not hesitate to submit your application. We warmly welcome your application!
