We are currently looking for 3 new employees for Lyssfallet, a special housing facility located approximately 30 km outside of Falun. Are you engaged, curious, and ready for a new challenge where you can make a difference in people's daily lives?
Lyssfallet has 30 apartments distributed across three units: eight apartments for residents with dementia and 22 for residents with high care needs. We offer a varied job where no two days are alike, with opportunities to work in common areas and on accessible outdoor spaces.
Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities involve motivating, supporting, and assisting our residents in all daily situations. You provide good care, support, and service, which may include personal care, assistance during meals, service tasks, and participation in social activities.
The work is guided by approved assistance decisions and each resident's implementation plan. As an employee, you are also responsible for administrative tasks, such as documentation according to given guidelines and follow-up of tasks handed over by colleagues, unit managers, or other professionals (e.g., nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists).
Qualifications
Requirements for the role:
- Three-year upper secondary school program in nursing/care or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Good skills in using computers and mobile phones at work.
Swedish is the common working language. You need to master the language to the level required to receive instructions and convey information correctly and clearly. You will collaborate with people from various linguistic backgrounds and are expected to contribute your experience positively.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to working with people. You are stress-resistant, flexible, and have good teamwork skills. You are attentive, respectful in your interactions, and value everyone equally. Personal suitability is highly valued.
Meritorious Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare and social care.
- Education and/or experience in dementia, palliative care, and geriatrics.
- Experience with delegated health and medical care tasks.
- Supervisor and/or mentor training.
- Category B driver's license.
Employment Terms
The positions are permanent full-time jobs with the possibility of part-time work. The work involves shifts during days, evenings, and weekends. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
Important Information for Applicants

As of July 1, 2023, the title "nursing assistant" (undersköterska) is protected; you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Without this certificate, you will be employed as a care assistant (vårdbiträde).
