eHealth Arena is a dynamic collaboration arena where the public sector, business life, and academia jointly drive development within e-health. We are now looking for an Innovation Developer who wants to take overall responsibility for our work with business life and contribute to developing new services, networks, and forms of collaboration that strengthen both companies' competitiveness and regional development.

With us, you will have a key role in an engaged team where you work closely with companies, public actors, academia, and the innovation system. You will become an important part of eHealth Arena's continued development and work, among other things, within the projects Health Data Sweden and Collaboration eHealth.

In the role, you will develop, coordinate, and drive eHealth Arena's work towards business life. You are responsible for developing and further developing networks and meeting places for companies within e-health, as well as identifying needs and turning them into new services and offers. An important part of the assignment is also to build long-term collaborations between companies, the public sector, academia, and actors in the innovation support system to contribute to increased coordination and clarity in the regional innovation system. You will also work within the Health Data Sweden project with a focus on financing, capital raising, and contacts with investors and funders.

About You

We are looking for you who have an academic education or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.

You have experience in innovation development, business development, business development, or other operational development and are accustomed to working in collaboration between the public sector, business life, and other support systems. You are good at building relationships, creating networks, and driving development work from idea to implementation, and you have the ability to navigate complex ecosystems. You understand how innovation, business development, and financing interact and thrive in a role where you work both strategically and make things happen in practice. As a person, you are proactive, structured, and good at building trust. You are curious, see opportunities, and enjoy developing new ways of working and collaborations. You have good communication skills in both Swedish and English. It is meritorious if you have experience in e-health, digitalization, life science, or healthcare and social services.

A B-driver's license is required as the position involves travel.

Your Future Workplace

You will be located at eHealth Arena's premises at Linnaeus University in Kalmar. eHealth Arena is an initiative for eHealth, driven by the Region of Kalmar County and is part of the regional development administration. It is a common arena for business life, healthcare and social services, academia, and the general public. eHealth Arena works in collaboration to contribute to increased use of e-health services within health, care, and social services, as well as increased business growth.

Within regional development, we work with sustainable growth and development issues in Kalmar County. We do this by initiating and coordinating efforts. We collaborate with actors within and outside the county in different areas such as public health, business, environment and climate, infrastructure, urban planning, rural areas, competence supply, culture, and library development. We create and participate in networks and also work with financing of development efforts aimed at benefiting the county's development. We contribute to adult education through our four folk high schools; Gamleby, Kalmar, Vimmerby, and Öland, which are part of the regional development administration.
