The Home Care service in Partille is looking for an engaged care assistant who wants to create security, joy, and quality of life for our users in their own homes. You will work with standard care assistant duties such as personal care, service tasks, and social support in the user's home. In Partille Municipality, cleaning services at users' homes are handled by an external service company, and purchases are managed digitally. This means that as a care assistant, you have the opportunity to focus on care and support for our users.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Trained Care Assistant (Undersköterska)
• Valid Driver's License (Category B)

Merits:

• Work-related experience with individuals struggling with substance abuse and/or dementia
• Previous experience working with quality registers

Delegated tasks and social documentation are important parts of the job, as well as creating implementation plans. Therefore, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Good to know

To be invited for an interview, you must be able to present a passing grade in Swedish 1 at the upper secondary level or equivalent. If this is missing, you will be required to take a digital language test.

In the event of an employment offer, a satisfactory extract from the Police's criminal record and suspicion register must be presented. For this position, the extract is required for work in the homes of elderly persons.

Your new workplace

Home Care belongs to the Care and Social Services Administration, the Elderly Care department, and has 145 employees. We have three home care areas: Centrum, Björndammen, and Sävedalen. Regardless of the area, you will become part of a warm, competent, and solution-focused team where we work closely with colleagues and users.

Here, you are scheduled to work every other weekend, meaning three out of six weekends during a scheduling period. If you wish to work more than three weekends, you will receive an extra 1,000 SEK gross per additional shift worked. One work shift corresponds to one instance, and in total, you may work up to four extra instances, provided you are employed on a permanent basis. We do not have split shifts, and we plan schedules every 6th week based on a basic structure.

Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekends. Common working hours are 07:00–15:30, 07:00–14:00, 14:00–22:30, and 15:30–22:30. We apply a 37-hour work week for our staff working day and evening shifts.
