At Joint Academy's primary care clinic Active Rehab Gothenburg, we are now looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist who wants to become part of our neuro-care team. Here, you will work in a stimulating and modern environment, together with engaged colleagues from several professions.
About the role
As an occupational therapist at Active Rehab Gothenburg, you will become an important part of a larger interprofessional team consisting of engaged occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists with years of experience. The clinic is centrally located in Gothenburg with bright, modern premises and has high accessibility and a strong patient focus.

Here, you will work broadly within different areas of occupational therapy with a primary focus on neurological rehabilitation. You will also, to some extent, work with patients within the regular primary care mandate.
Your tasks at the clinic will include among other things:
- Neurological rehabilitation, team-based approach within the neuro-care team mandate
- Hand training and hand rehabilitation
- Assessment, mapping, and training of cognition
- Balance in daily life and activity assessment
- Prescription of aids and functional assessment
- Home visits and housing adaptation
- Supporting the patient in training within the framework of self-care
- Collaborate with and support other healthcare providers internally and externally
- Conduct groups and lectures
Depending on the clinic's needs, you will also have the opportunity to work in Joint Academy's digital healthcare platform. Here, you will offer video and chat consultations, evaluate patients' needs, and design customized treatment plans – offering a dynamic and flexible work environment where you have the opportunity to work digitally and physically (hybrid).
The position is primarily a full-time employment starting immediately, but we also welcome those interested in working part-time.
Who are you?
- You are a licensed occupational therapist
- Meritorious if you have work experience within neurological rehab, with advanced education of 15 higher education credits in neurology
- As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and structured in your work, and thrive working in the slightly higher pace of primary care
- You are flexible, open to change, and can adapt quickly to new situations
- You are patient, listen actively, and communicate effectively
- You enjoy and want to learn to work digitally and see the possibilities with hybrid care
- You have good skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English
