Job Responsibilities

As a temporary staff member in our elderly care homes, you work with providing care and support to the elderly. The individual's needs determine the extent of service and nursing care. You perform service tasks and uncomplicated care and support measures, as well as carry out planned activities. You are part of a team with care assistants, assistant nurses, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, and receive tasks based on your level of competence.

Home Care

In home care, you work in the person's home, and the work is primarily done independently, although some tasks are performed together with colleagues. You start from your unit and follow routines that describe which measures should be carried out for the users. You travel by bicycle or car between users, and the work pace can sometimes be high.

Night Patrol

In the night patrol within home care, you work as a temporary staff member at night and help those who need support. You respond to alarms and also make fixed visits. As a temporary staff member in the night patrol, previous experience in care work is required.

Depending on your education and experience, you may be assigned medical tasks on delegation from a nurse, and you will work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written.
• Good computer skills.
• A driver's license is required for home care.

Merits:

• Trained or currently training to be an assistant nurse or other equivalent education.
• Experience with the current target group.
• Some years of work experience.
