Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital is located on Wieselgrensplatsen in Gothenburg, with good transport links and close to the city center. We are a modern and personal specialist hospital providing planned care in areas such as ENT, ophthalmology, psychiatry, medicine, surgery, nephrology, and day surgery – under contract with the Region Västra Götaland.

Approximately 220 employees work here in a flat organization where we support each other and have close access to decision-makers. The ENT department at Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital is a multifaceted unit providing close and accessible care with a focus on quality and patient safety. We investigate adults and children with diseases and complaints within the specialist field of ENT. In addition to doctor and nurse clinics, we have an outpatient operating room where we perform minor procedures under local anesthesia.

We are a nice group who enjoy working together. We work in teams consisting of specialist doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, audiologists, and medical secretaries. In total, there are around 27 wonderful employees in the department. We work daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

As a nurse in the ENT department, you have a fun and varied job, meeting patients of all ages. The colleagues at the clinic work in close collaboration, where everyone jointly takes responsibility for the day's work. We work closely together across professional groups and always help each other when needed.

As a nurse, you will work with, among other things:

• Working in a team with the doctor during clinic visits.
• Assisting the doctor during outpatient surgeries.
• Running your own nurse-led clinic, including rhinomanometry, prick tests, wound dressings, and suturing.
• Telephone advice and 1177 healthcare guidance.
• Own areas of responsibility.

We are constantly engaged in quality and improvement work, where everyone is encouraged to come up with creative solutions and suggestions. We work with our processes and can easily discuss substantive issues to advance care and the department. Our focus is always on ensuring the patient receives the best possible care.

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with an interest in ENT care. Experience in ENT and working with children is meritorious.

As a person, you are engaged and interested in driving care forward for our patients. You have a pedagogical approach and a holistic mindset with the patient in focus.

We have a high patient flow and work closely in the team. Therefore, personal qualities such as good team spirit, a positive attitude, and independence are highly valued.
