The position of Production Planner is an addition to our partner's current planning function, aiming to strengthen and professionalize the planning process as the company grows and transitions to new routines and systems, particularly within SAP S4/HANA.

About the Role

Our partner is an innovative and international company that develops and manufactures high-tech solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. With a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and precision, they contribute to ensuring safe and efficient production processes for their customers worldwide. You will become a key player in the planning flow from the moment an order lands from the sales organization until it is ready for production and delivery. Additionally, you will work on a weekly basis with a two-week planning horizon, handling everything from stock products to customer-specific solutions, where each order is often a combination of both. The role involves daily dialogue with colleagues in sales, procurement, and production. In this role, you will work approximately 20% on fully customer-specific solutions, which requires the ability to understand customer needs and adapt accordingly. You also need to have a good sense of when a customized solution is the right way to go – and when an off-the-shelf standard solution is more efficient.

In summary, your work will involve:

• Planning new customer orders into production based on available materials and resources.
• Assessing capacity of both internal resources (e.g., assembly group) and external suppliers.
• Developing and communicating realistic delivery times to sales.
• Acting on deviations and delays, and replanning efficiently.
• Contributing to phase-in and phase-out projects for new and existing products.
• Participating in the development of processes and routines for increased efficiency and structure.
• Using and eventually optimizing functions in SAP S4/HANA, supplementing with Excel where the system does not yet suffice.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have experience in production and/or material planning in manufacturing industry, preferably where both standard products and customer-adapted solutions have been handled. You have a good understanding of flows, capacity, and dependencies between procurement, production, and delivery.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• Approximately 3 years of experience working as a production planner or similar
• Experience working in SAP S4/HANA, and preferably other business systems
• Experience planning production based on limited resources and supplier capacity.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the Employment

This is initially a consultancy assignment via OIO starting in August/September until the turn of the year, with very good opportunities for extension given that all parties are satisfied.
