Make a difference. Every day.
Are you a registered nurse, or are you about to receive your licensure? Do you want to work in an stimulating environment and become part of a team characterized by community and joy in work? Then you might be the person we are looking for at our Acute Medicine Department (AVA)!
AVA has space for 14 care beds, where we treat patients over 18 years old with varying acute medical conditions. We provide high-level internal medicine care, with excellent conditions for both monitoring and intensive treatment of patients with more severe illnesses. Examples include ST-monitoring during ischemia, invasive blood pressure measurement, and non-invasive ventilation. In addition, the department also cares for more stable internal medicine patients.
At Hässleholm Hospital, AVA is the department with the highest level of care, and it is from here that staff are deployed in alarms regarding life-threatening conditions and cardiac arrest. AVA belongs to the Business Area (VO) Medicine and Emergency Department, which is part of the Administration Close Care and Health, and we have close cooperation.
"The best part of my job is the eventful days and the opportunity to develop a broad competence. Through the collaboration between the emergency department and AVA, I get a holistic view of my work that is very rewarding," says nurse Karolinn.
