About the Position

We are looking for you who are engaged and motivated to work at Solhem and in the nearby home healthcare service. Solhem and the home healthcare area are located in the northernmost part of the municipality, close to the border with Småland, in the small, idyllic village of Loshult.

Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you are part of a healthcare team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and the unit manager. You work closely with our assistance coordinators, regional primary care, the unit "Close Care and Health," and other external healthcare providers, serving as a contributing link to good and safe care.

You assess nursing interventions and healthcare measures. You follow up on medical orders, medication management, wound dressings, etc. Together with the team, you perform risk assessments and follow-ups in Senior Alert. You are responsible for planning and executing SIPs (Individual Care Plans), care planning, and team meetings with the patient in focus.

You train and supervise nursing staff, patients, and relatives.

The position is daytime hours, Monday to Friday, as long as Solhem exists. Upon the decommissioning of Solhem, which will take place within a 5-year period, you will retain your permanent employment in our operations but will transition to working day/evening and weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) according to the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
• Good collaboration skills with all professional categories and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Self-reliant with experience working as a nurse, both independently and in groups.
• Work according to the competency description for registered nurses (person-centered care, teamwork, evidence-based care, improvement knowledge, safe care, and informatics).
• Category B driver's license is required.
• Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale.

Do you have a foreign nursing degree? Apply to the National Board of Health and Welfare for Swedish registration.

About Solhem and the Future

Solhem is a temporary residence that opened in 2022 and is planned to remain until a new care and nursing home in Osby is ready. After the decommissioning, you will retain your permanent position in our administration and will work in one of our other operations. In connection with this, the position will transition from daytime hours to day/evening and weekends.

There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment is made based on the operational needs.
