ORADEV AB is growing and is now looking for a skilled Java Developer with approximately five years of experience who wants to work as a consultant on exciting and long-term client assignments. We are a company that values competence, engagement, and a culture where people thrive and develop.

About the role

As a Java Developer at ORADEV AB, you will work on projects for our clients within sectors such as finance, industry, the public sector, or tech. You will become an important part of the development team and contribute your expertise in system development, architecture, and problem-solving.

When you are between client assignments, you will participate in internal projects, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to ORADEV's own initiatives, develop new solutions, and strengthen the company's technical offering.

Security Requirements

Several of our client assignments require security clearance.

You will therefore participate in security-sensitive operations and undergo a security investigation including a background check and a special interview.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree, preferably in computer science, system development, or a corresponding field
• Approximately 5 years of experience in Java development
• Very good knowledge of Java 11+ (experience with Java 17 or 21 is a plus)
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and working with microservices
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization with Docker
• Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Good practice in unit testing and integration testing

Meritorious

• Experience working in Linux
• Experience with Kubernetes or serverless architecture
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Previous experience in a consultant role

Employment Type

We offer a 6-month probationary period, which then transitions into a permanent position or project-based employment, depending on the assignment and agreement.
