Do you want to make a difference for the residents of Malmö?

At Havsbris, you have the opportunity to help shape the future of elderly care. As part of the Health, Care and Social Services Administration's initiative on work differentiation, we are now looking for you who want to contribute to developing the role of care assistant with a focus on service-oriented tasks.

Work differentiation means that the operations introduce a division of labor where different staff groups perform different types of tasks. It is about distinguishing between service interventions and personal care. Staff without nursing education, such as care assistants, instead perform service interventions for our users. Work differentiation is currently being discussed at the national level and can be part of solving the challenges of competence supply. There are also hopes of making care work more attractive, where untrained care staff see the possibility of a career path with the goal of becoming a nurse aide.

Does this sound like something for you? We warmly welcome your application!

Job Description

As a care assistant at Havsbris, you work with service-oriented interventions that contribute to a secure, pleasant, and well-functioning daily life for our users. Your tasks include, among other things, cleaning the users' apartments, laundry management, waste management, and kitchen duties such as setting and clearing tables, washing dishes, preparing simple snacks, and baking. You are also responsible for unpacking deliveries and other common service tasks in the operations.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

  • Upper secondary education equivalent to 3 years
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

Merits for the position:

  • Studying or planning to start education as a nurse aide
  • Experience working in service, for example with cleaning, kitchen work, baking, or other service-oriented tasks
  • Experience working with people with cognitive impairment
  • Experience from the care and social services sector

We are looking for you who are structured and take responsibility for planning and organizing your work in an efficient way. You have a service-oriented approach and meet our users and colleagues with calmness, respect, and good treatment. You enjoy collaborating with others, are attentive in your communication, and actively contribute to a good work climate. As a person, you are self-reliant, take initiative, and drive your tasks forward with engagement and precision. In addition, you have good cultural awareness and value people's different backgrounds, experiences, and conditions.
