The Endoscopy Clinic in Malmö is one of Sweden's leading endoscopy units. Over 6,000 examinations are performed here each year, including gastroscopies, colonoscopies, capsule endoscopies, ERCP, as well as advanced procedures such as ESD and enteroscopy. We conduct extensive research at both national and international levels and have a strong commitment to development, teaching, and education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will have a varied, stimulating, and developing job where no day is like the other. You are responsible for preparations before examinations, assist in endoscopic procedures, and are responsible for monitoring and care after examinations have been performed.

The work involves rotation between different functions such as examination rooms, recovery units, and instrument handling. You will also assist with emergency endoscopies and pediatric endoscopies performed under anesthesia.

Our operations are characterized by high technical competence and a constant focus on development. After introduction and experience building, you will be offered the opportunity for training in propofol sedation for selected patient groups.

We have a close collaboration with the Gastrointestinal Department, which contributes to a broader understanding of the patient's care process and creates good opportunities for cooperation between our units.

Weekend duties may become relevant approximately every fifth weekend in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Experience as a nurse is a requirement. You have good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.
