The Business Support and Development Unit, within the Care and Social Services Administration in Östersund Municipality, is now looking for a System Administrator who wants to be part of the driving and developmental work regarding the administration's business systems.

The Business Support and Development Unit is a staff unit responsible for the development and coordination of the administration's business systems, welfare technology, as well as security and premises-related issues. The unit consists of approximately 30 employees and is organized into two parts: an operational part responsible, among other things, for programming and deprogramming of safety alarms, digital locks, and other welfare technology, and a part that works with strategic assignments.

We are located in newly renovated premises at Sollidenvägen 64A. The office contributes to a good working environment and promotes close collaboration. Working hours are office hours, Monday to Friday. The position is full-time (100%) with a planned start in the autumn.

Your new role

As a System Administrator, you will be part of the Care and Social Services Administration's working group for digitalization and automation. You will be responsible for administering and developing the administration's specific business systems, as well as having shared responsibility for various types of registers, including the HSA register. You will work in a team with the unit's administration manager, system administrators, and system operators. You will serve as a support for all operations within the administration and collaborate with both suppliers and other equivalent functions within Östersund Municipality.

The assignment includes adapting the systems to requirements and needs so that they support the operations' working methods, processes, legal requirements, and user support. You handle change requests to/from suppliers and act as the coordinator for contact between suppliers and various units within the municipality. You are responsible for maintaining the supplier agreement.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing a system administration plan and agreement between the IT unit and the operations.
  • Monitoring incidents and problems.
  • Managing changes in the IT system.
  • Coordinating contact between the supplier and the IT unit's system operations.
  • Maintaining ongoing contact with suppliers together with the system administrator.

Your qualifications

Requirements

  • You have relevant education for the assignment and/or experience that the employer considers equivalent.
  • Experience in monitoring incidents and problems.
  • Experience in managing changes in business systems.

Merits

  • Experience working with care and social services-related business systems, such as Viva, Kompanion, MCSS, etc.
  • Experience with register maintenance.
  • Experience in creating policy documents.
  • Knowledge of the Care and Social Services Administration's operations.
