Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Wish to work for a man in his 60s living in Nacka
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Have experience with patient handling/moving
• Tolerate pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience working as a personal assistant or similar
• Are a positive person with an attitude that is contagious

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment level, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment level of approximately 43%. We are looking for two personal assistants.

The working hours are scheduled for evenings, nights, and 24-hour shifts according to the following schedule:

Position 1

Week 1: Thursday 17:00–08:00

Week 2: Monday 17:00–08:00 and Wednesday 17:00–17:00

Position 2

Week 1: Tuesday 17:00–08:00

Week 2: Tuesday 17:00–08:00, Saturday 17:00–17:00, and Thursday 17:00–17:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
