About the position

As part of your employment with the Resource Unit, you will work within several different LSS operations, and you may also move between different operations during the same work shift. The work is varied and includes both pedagogical and practical tasks. As a support assistant, you work closely with our users and are an important support in their daily lives. You base your tasks on each person's implementation plan, which ensures that the support is designed in the way that best benefits the user's needs and wishes.

The position is full-time and involves working during the day, evenings, and every other weekend. A probationary period may apply to this position.

Before employment, you must be able to show an extract from the criminal record.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Support users in their daily lives based on individual implementation plans.
• Create a meaningful, active and stimulating everyday life.
• Work with both pedagogical and practical interventions.
• Adapt your approach and working methods to the individual's needs.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a good work climate.
• Share experiences and knowledge in a non-hierarchical and humble way.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the operations.

About our offer:

We offer a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK for full-time employment in 2026.

About you

For this position, you need:

• Relevant education, such as the Child and Leisure program, Care and Nursing program with a focus on social work/disability, or assistant nurse education with a focus on the disability area.
• Good knowledge of social documentation.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Knowledge and experience of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and clarifying pedagogy.
• Good IT skills.
• Driver's license and driving experience.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Post-secondary education specializing in children and adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
• Good experience of low-affective interaction and awareness of self-knowledge in meeting people who require special care.
• Knowledge of the functional perspective.
• Knowledge of IBIC.
• Experience of combining work in several operations simultaneously.

About us

Within our operational area of Functional Support and Assistance, we offer group and service housing for adults, children's and youth housing, short-term housing, leisure activities, and several different types of day activities. We also operate in the area of personal assistance, as well as guidance and relief within LSS.

The Resource Unit functions as an internal support function that ensures staffing in case of sudden absence within the operational area. As an employee in the Resource Unit, you have a fixed home base in the operation you originate from, and you are placed within a specified area when needed.

We are part of Tiohundra – the complete care company in Roslagen.
