At the Child Investigation Unit, we are a welcoming and competent team of colleagues who work together with children, young people, and parents to find what makes a difference in their lives, supported by the Social Services Act (SoL), the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), and the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). We are a pleasant team full of enthusiasm, led by a dedicated unit manager and two operational managers. We enjoy development and trying new things and have participated in several research projects.

Job Description

We are looking for you who want to work as an LSS Case Worker in a stable work group. We focus on close supervision and a stimulating and developing work climate. You will process applications for services for people with disabilities.

Your task will be to investigate, assess, and make decisions on services primarily according to the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) but also the Social Services Act (SoL). You will also follow up and review approved services in our structured goal work. You will have contact with users and their relatives as well as close cooperation with psychiatry, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, schools, habilitation services, and other relevant actors within social services. In your daily work, you have support from colleagues and operational managers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker (socionom).

It is meritorious if you have experience in processing applications for personal assistance.

You show great commitment and interest in the target group. You have a good approach, which means that you are calm, attentive, and solution-focused. You are flexible and adapt easily to new circumstances, see opportunities in changes, and have a structured and independent way of working. You can and want to work independently and take responsibility for asking for help from management when needed. You are interested in change and development work. You express yourself well in speech and writing. You have very good collaboration skills. Personal suitability is of great importance.

A B-driver's license is a requirement.
