Do you want meaningful work where you make a difference every day? We are currently looking for you who want to be a personal assistant to a lovely and active 14-year-old who lives with his parents outside of Laholm. To get to the workplace, you need access to a car.

What does this position involve?

The position is part-time, and the working hours are weekday evenings and every other weekend. During school holidays, there is an opportunity to work during daytime. The work takes place primarily at home, every other week in Mellbystrand and every other week in Våxtorp.

About the client

The client is a sporty boy who uses a wheelchair and needs support in everyday life with personal care, communication, and activities. He communicates partly by speech, but also uses an eye-controlled computer and a communication board to facilitate conversation.

You support him with his interests, which are ice hockey, computer games, and doing fun activities. On weekdays, you help him get started with his homework.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is cheerful, responsible, and has a sparkle in their eye. You are confident in meeting children and enjoy contributing to both development and everyday joy.

We would like you to:

• be energetic, positive, and resourceful
• have experience working as a personal assistant or with children
• have patience and be good at listening
• be comfortable around pets
• have good computer skills
• be a non-smoker
• have very good Swedish language skills, especially spoken
• have a Category B driver's license and access to a car (this is a requirement)

Additional information

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Part-time

Working hours: Weekday shifts start at 15:30 or 16:00 and end at 21:45 or 22:00. On Saturdays, working hours are 9:00-22:00, and on Sundays 9:00-19:00. (Working hours change during the summer holiday)

Start date: According to agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
