We consist of two orthopedic inpatient wards: Ward 17, which handles acute patients, and Ward 18, which cares for patients before and after planned (elective) procedures. Here, you will meet patients with fractures, arthritis, or other types of diagnoses related to the musculoskeletal system. The pace may vary from day to day, making the work both varied and developmental. Here, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and doctors work in close collaboration to provide the best possible care.

• Provide person-centered care to our orthopedic patients
• Work with pre- and post-operative care
• Perform routine nursing assistant tasks such as blood sampling, wound dressing, and mobilization
• Participate in improvement and development work

Requirements

• Trained nursing assistant and has completed the Care and Nursing Program or the vocational package Care and Nursing at adult education
• Experience in inpatient care
• Experience in emergency care
• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Good documentation skills

Meritorious:

• Experience in orthopedic care
• Experience in wound care
