Regional Adult Psychiatry Falun and Säter has a county-wide mandate within adult psychiatry, responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, addiction, and dependency treatment.

We are currently looking for a nurse, as one of our nurses has been informed that she will be studying full-time moving forward, leaving a position open for you. The position is permanent and currently scheduled for daytime hours only, with work every third weekend. However, there is a possibility that we may change the schedule later in the autumn, which could involve voluntary rotation between day and night shifts. You will be employed on a permanent day-shift basis. We believe in placing the right person in the right place, so we will discuss what would suit you best and determine if rotation is a viable option for you.

Ward 65 at Falu Hospital is part of the Addiction Center. The ward has 14 beds and its own emergency clinic specialized in addiction care, where treatment is primarily focused on withdrawal management for risky withdrawal. The ward works with a motivation program designed to encourage patients to make changes regarding their substance dependency issues.

On the ward, we work in teams around the patient, consisting of care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors. Access to counselors, psychologists, and occupational therapists is available through the acute psychiatry clinic's treatment team.

Good collaboration with municipal social services, primary care, and outpatient psychiatry is a key factor in our success.

The Addiction Center also includes a LARO (Opioid Agonist Treatment) clinic for patients with opioid dependence.

Ward 65 also staffs the needle exchange in Falun together with personnel from the infection department two days a week.

We are looking for a nurse to work on our inpatient ward, Ward 65, with opportunities to develop within related operations.
