The specialized palliative care in Dalarna is a county-wide clinic with several teams covering the entire county. We work with a holistic perspective and strive to create security and a good quality of life for patients and their relatives.

As a nurse with us, you work with specialized palliative care in the patient's home. You meet patients of all ages with various diagnoses and complex symptoms. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessment and planning of care based on the patient's needs and health status
• Medical technology and nursing, for example, handling central lines, drainage, and medication treatment via pump
• Symptom relief and support for patients and relatives
• Collaboration in a team with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and counselors to create a secure and cohesive care
• Independent work with great responsibility and freedom – you plan your day and spend a large part of your time at the patients' homes

Night on-call duty at home occurs approximately one week per month.

Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse (RN)
• Valid Driver's License (Category B)

Meritorious:

• Experience in palliative care
