Pite Havsbad Group is a major hotel group in Northern Sweden, owning and operating 6 hotels in Haparanda, Luleå, Piteå, Hemavan, and Arvidsjaur. The position is with Nordkalotten, which is now looking for a handyman/maintenance technician to take care of their properties in Luleå. The work will involve general handyman duties, such as daily operation and maintenance of indoor and outdoor facilities.

Examples of tasks:

• Standard property maintenance, both indoor and outdoor, related to the season (e.g., lawn mowing, waste management, snow removal, etc.)
• Rectify faults following reported issues (e.g., lighting, ventilation, etc.)
• Simple repairs to the building, premises, indoors/outdoors
• Handle minor technical property tasks and ensure the hotel and all premises present a well-maintained appearance, both indoors and outdoors
• Other occasional tasks

The position is full-time (100%), permanent. Working hours are primarily weekdays 07:00 – 16:00, but the business dictates that weekends and evenings may also be required. You will be personally responsible for the assignment as you will work primarily alone. This implies that work may occasionally occur outside these hours.

This is a direct recruitment, and you will be employed by Nordkalotten. The position will be filled immediately and start as soon as we find the right person.

You should have a positive attitude and enjoy working, doing so with diligence and efficiency. You are a flexible and responsible person! It is important that you are a quick learner, driven, self-starting, and take initiative where you see what needs to be done. You also need to be handy and comfortable solving problems as they arise. You do not need to be a specialist but should have a bit of knowledge in various areas and the technical competence required, combined with orderliness and a sense for good service.

As a handyman, you will follow routine descriptions, and the tasks involve both heavy lifting and lighter duties. You will meet hotel guests daily, so you need to be service-minded and have good social skills.

Requirements:

• A valid B-driver's license is required.
• Background as a carpenter, electrician, plumber, or similar is meritorious but not a requirement.
