ISS is one of the world's largest service companies, and this year we celebrate 80 years in Sweden! With over 6,500 employees across the country, from north to south, we deliver service that makes a difference. We offer our customers everything from cleaning to technical services, food, and workplace services. We create workplaces where people thrive, businesses grow, and sustainability is a given – socially, environmentally, and commercially. Our employees are the heart of what we do – and crucial for ensuring our customers feel safe, seen – and for their workplaces to flourish.

To our operations serving mid-sized customers in Luleå, ISS is looking for a service-oriented and engaged Operations Manager who wants to develop people and the customers' business. We offer you a challenging role in a company and industry in constant development!

About the role

As an Operations Manager, you have financial and personnel responsibility for your operational area. Our delivery includes a wide range of ISS service offerings such as facility maintenance, reception, and caretaking.

In the role of Operations Manager, you are also responsible for local customer relations and ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with current customer contracts. In collaboration with the customer, you strive for continuous improvements and development of the ISS delivery. Here you have great opportunities to elevate the service from good to becoming one of ISS's best sites!

Leadership is important to us at ISS. Through your good leadership, you are expected to create conditions for your employees to develop and perform. As an Operations Manager, you have direct responsibility for approximately 30-40 employees, including 2 team leaders. You lead the operations towards set goals in close collaboration with the customer, employees, and your nearest manager.

You are responsible for ensuring that the operations are optimally sized and staffed. Furthermore, you are not afraid to step into daily operations yourself to support your employees when needed. Conducting work in compliance with laws, other agreements, as well as ISS policies and values, is a given for you.

Your base is at the ISS office in Luleå, and you sit on the regional leadership group together with other Operations Managers in the region. The position is full-time and permanent, starting as soon as possible, with an initial six-month probationary period.

We offer

You will work closely with competent colleagues from whom you will benefit greatly, as we value helping and developing each other. ISS's size and broad service offering contribute to good development opportunities both nationally and globally. Our focus is on taking care of and developing our employees, because we believe that "People make places". ISS offers among other things training and talent programs – all to ensure you are engaged and developed at work.

We value diversity and inclusion highly. At ISS, all people are of equal value and have the same rights and opportunities. Our employees reflect the diversity of society, which is both a competitive advantage and an asset in our long-term sustainable work. Our inclusive corporate culture strengthens our employees, makes us more creative and productive, and creates a more attractive workplace.

ISS values, which are fundamental to how we work, are quality, responsibility, honesty, entrepreneurship, and community. Therefore, it is important that you feel that you stand for a way of working and an attitude that aligns with these.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a driven and communicative leader with the ability to motivate your surroundings to deliver results that exceed set goals. To succeed in the role, you need to have the will and ability to create new business. You are self-reliant and driven by continuously developing and structuring existing operations, while also valuing efficient processes, high quality, and customer satisfaction. Above all, you also share our passion for delivering service to ISS customers!

Since the work involves many personal contacts both within and outside the organization, good collaboration skills and an interest in people are required. You also have a good ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships.

You have a high school education and experience in leadership, economics, personnel, and customer relations. Experience from a personnel-intensive service industry is an advantage. You communicate very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and speak English well. You also have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common IT environments. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Previous experience in facility maintenance, catering, and other services within Facility Management is meritorious.

We hope we have sparked your interest! We look forward to your application, no later than July 17, 2026. We recruit based on competence, which means the process includes interviews and references. Background checks and security clearance may be conducted if required by the customer. For any questions, contact Regional Manager Linda Andersson at [email protected]
