Job Description

Are you a student or do you have another main occupation of at least 50%? Would you like to be part of a technological industrial company and gain experience from the industrial sector? Then this might be an interesting position for you! We are looking for someone who wants to combine their main occupation with a part-time job as a Process Operator.

You will work extra as needed, where the workload may vary during the month. We want you, the applicant, to be flexible regarding your working capacity. You will belong to a team of experienced and driven colleagues, where you will have the chance to apply new knowledge within the industry!

The assignment is part of our rental business, which means you will be employed by Randstad but work as a rented consultant. You enjoy the same benefits at Randstad as at other employers with collective agreements, such as wellness benefits, occupational health care, and insurance.

Start date: August/September

In accordance with our collective agreement, it is important that you, as an applicant, can provide a certificate stating that you have another main occupation, such as studies or other work, with a scope of at least 50%.

Responsibilities

As a Process Operator, you are responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process of the company's products runs smoothly. You will work on a production line, and together with your workgroup, you will be responsible for carrying out planned production according to current routines, instructions, and quality requirements. Your tasks include preparing and executing changeovers according to instructions, as well as performing simple maintenance on tools and equipment.

The working hours follow a three-shift system: early morning (06–14), late evening (14–22), and night (22–06). The work is mainly performed on weekdays, but work may occur on weekends (06–18). It is possible to commute to the company via public transport, but a car or bicycle is recommended.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for you who:

• Are a student or have another main occupation of at least 50%.
• Have fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Have previous experience from the industry (meritorious).

The most important thing is your drive and interest in the product, quality, and the production process as a whole. As a person, you are a responsible problem solver and a quality-conscious team player who contributes to a good atmosphere at the workplace. You work methodically, enjoy working according to written instructions, but also take the initiative to suggest improvements in your pursuit of high-quality end products and customer satisfaction. You have a burning interest in technology and a desire to develop. A strong ability to take initiative is expected of you.
