Eltel is growing rapidly and wants you to join the journey! We are now looking for two new stars to strengthen our team: technicians with a focus on railways. 🚆🔧👷‍♂️

What are my responsibilities? ⚡👷‍♀️⚒️The role primarily involves working directly with customers on the railway. You will be responsible for correcting both major and minor faults in the communication system. You will receive work orders from the team's production planner or project engineer.

In your role, you will be part of both emergency fault repair and planned renovations in the rail area. We provide 24/7 service to our customers, where it is important that we perform quickly, safely, and professionally.

In your role, you will:

• Maintain critical infrastructure both independently and in a team
• Troubleshoot and repair
• Service and replace copper and fiber optic cables
• Be on standby every fifth week (on-call duty)
• Provide high-level service to customers

As a technician, you have many different contacts, both with our production planner who distributes and assigns work to available technicians and with the customer when needed. Sometimes you need to ensure the procurement of what is needed to solve the customer's problem, where communication is key.

You report your hours daily via phone or computer and provide ongoing reports during and after completed work. Naturally, you maintain close dialogue with our production planner and our customers so they are updated on how the work is progressing.

You work primarily in Luleå, but travel may occur as we always help each other in the team when needed.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• A completed upper secondary education
• A genuine interest in technology, preferably within railways
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• A B-driver's license for manual transmission
• A flexible work approach as the workday may need to be reprioritized
