About the Position

Professionals Nord is recruiting a Field Mechanic on behalf of Kranpunkten. The assignment is part of our staffing solution. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Kranpunkten for a period of 6 months. After this period, the intention is that you may be hired directly by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities

In the role of Field Mechanic, you will perform service, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and technical equipment at the company's customer sites. You are often the first to identify problems and ensure that the correct measures are taken to get the equipment running again. The work involves great variation – some days consist of planned service assignments, while others may involve more urgent interventions. The role also involves close contact with customers, where you represent the company and contribute to a positive customer experience.

You will become part of a competent and cohesive team that ensures a good introduction and provides you with the right conditions to develop and succeed in the role.

The work area is primarily within Norrbotten, and you have the opportunity to work from home. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, but urgent matters may arise that require flexibility.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in mechanical work and competence in electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Hold a valid B-driver's license.
• Have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing (for customer contact and documentation).

It is an advantage if you have experience from a similar role or have worked in a heavy workshop environment, for example with construction machinery, tractors, or similar. Experience as a car mechanic is also considered relevant.
