The Department of Social Planning, Culture and Public Health (SKF) is one of the broadest and most diversified departments in the country, comprising seven units (Fire and Rescue Service, Environmental Unit, Planning and Building Unit, Technical Unit, Meals Unit, Culture Unit, and Leisure Unit) as well as an administrative staff. Our goal is to be a forward-looking, change-ready, and service-oriented department held together by our joint development work and our strive to master each other in our respective professions. At SKF, we work at a high pace with the broadest palette of municipal tasks, which places demands on our employees to look beyond their respective operations to contribute to a whole within the department. In our operations, we answer to three political boards: The Social Planning Board, The Culture & Public Health Board, and the Conflict of Interest Board.
The staff's work aims to support the entire department's work with efficient administration with the highest possible legal certainty and quality. This includes board administration, economic planning and follow-up, digitalization, invoice processing, investigation work, etc. The staff consists of eleven people who work towards the Social Planning Board and the Culture & Public Health Board as well as the department's seven units.
About the Position
At the Department of Social Planning, Culture and Public Health in Laholm Municipality, we try to challenge ourselves and each other to deliver quality and good conditions for our employees and residents.
We have now focused on improving our introduction and onboarding through several different initiatives. We are aware that we need a thorough review to ensure a high-quality introduction and onboarding throughout our complex department.
We are looking for a full-time studying star from a university or college who wants to do their 10-week internship with us and deliver a sharp summary with insights on how we can develop forward specifically within onboarding and introduction.
The assignment involves identifying and compiling our central and unit-specific introductions. Analyze them from both manager and employee perspectives and provide concrete improvement proposals for our future onboarding process. The goal is to present a proposal for a general introduction for all employees in the department as well as recommendations for operational and job-specific introductions for our different roles, both white-collar and blue-collar workers.
You who do this work will collaborate with engaged colleagues in the department with very good insights into the different areas of operation included in our mission, from steering down to execution. You get a unique opportunity to get an insight into a complex organization and contribute to a development work that will make a difference for future employees.
The placement is together with the HR partner in the staff. Suitable field of study could be HR studies, occupational health, quality, but feel free to challenge us.

Are you the one we are looking for?
The internship must be part of an ongoing educational program.
Basic education in a PA program (Personnel and Working Life) or similar, such as labor law, leadership, and psychology, etc.

Autumn term 2026 according to agreement.
Selection takes place continuously.
Interview days are August 19 and 20.
