RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher for grades 7-9 in Math/Science at Sofiedalsskolan, you will be responsible for teaching, class leadership, as well as mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons in your subjects. The work is carried out according to decided goals and guidelines. The responsibilities also include mentorship and, together with your colleagues, designing a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus.

You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching based on all students' needs and prerequisites. The work is done in collaboration with other educators, student health services, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in grades 7-9 in Math/Science. You have good knowledge of the primary school curriculum and work in accordance with current regulatory documents.

Formal Competencies:

• Teacher degree and teacher certification with the qualification to teach in grades 7-9 in Math/Science
• Good knowledge of the primary school curriculum
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of and experience with working with digital tools, for example documentation in Unikum or Office

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start Date: 2026-09-07 or according to agreement.
