As a Charge Nurse at Aleris Basal Home Care, you play a central role during night shifts. You lead, prioritize, and coordinate the work to ensure our patients receive safe and secure care – while also being a vital support for your colleagues.

We work on behalf of health centers in Stockholm County and are available when regular operations have closed. Every night, we make a difference for patients who need care at home, and now we are looking for you to become part of our team.

Working hours are 21:30–08:30. As a Charge Nurse, you are responsible for leading and coordinating operations throughout the entire shift. You ensure smooth workflow, prioritize resources based on current needs, and contribute to high patient safety and a good working environment.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating night work.
• Handling phone calls and planning urgent patient visits.
• Ensuring patient visits are registered correctly in Epsilon.
• Leading and following up on reports together with the work group.
• Ensuring staffing levels and redistributing resources in cases of acute absence or need for double staffing.
• Responsible for handover reporting of late-arriving alarms to the health center or on-call nurse according to current routines.

We document in TakeCare and use Epsilon in daily work.

• Are a registered nurse with at least two years of experience.
• Feel confident in your professional role and have good skills in prioritizing, making decisions, and creating structure.
• Enjoy taking responsibility and supervising others.
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Have good computer skills and experience with TakeCare.
• Have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience in home care or advanced home care (ASIH) is an advantage.

Aleris Basal Home Care is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, specialized palliative care wards, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care. Our teams operate from five geographical units in Stockholm County and work together to provide patients with safe and accessible home care.
