Your role

In the role of an hourly substitute in elderly care in Haninge Municipality, you will play a vital and responsible role in ensuring safe and high-quality care for the service recipient. Your main responsibility includes supporting and caring for the elderly in their daily lives and activities. It is crucial that you are independent and can take initiative, while also being flexible and adapting to the needs of the service recipient.

Your specific areas of responsibility include:

• Create and maintain trusting relationships with the service recipient to promote their well-being.
• Personal care such as toilet visits and showering, transfers, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Work in close cooperation with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Have an empathetic and holistic view of each individual.
• Plan and carry out activities that stimulate both physically and mentally, adapted to the individual's needs and wishes.

Through your work, you will have the opportunity to influence and improve the quality of life for many elderly people, which is a meaningful and rewarding task.

About the employment

Hourly employment as needed. Working hours during the day, evening, and weekends.

Haninge Municipality is a Finnish administrative area. Therefore, if you speak Finnish in addition to our other competence requirements, it can be an asset.

A police certificate (extract from the record of convictions) must be presented before employment.
