Welcome to Järna Child Health Center! Here you will join a small, dedicated team that contributes to a pleasant and family-like work environment.
Do you want to become part of our wonderful team? We look forward to getting to know you!
What do we offer?
As a Child Health Center Nurse at the child health center, you will meet families during the child's first crucial years of life. We are looking for someone who is passionate about children and their rights.
We work on behalf of Stockholm Region with the national child health program. You work independently but always have colleagues nearby to collaborate with and discuss matters. The role of a Child Health Center Nurse is varied, involving everything from vaccinations, home visits, doctor's appointments, developmental assessments, and above all, support for parents during one of life's most important phases.
We use the electronic health record system Take Care, and we would appreciate it if you are familiar with this system. We also welcome your involvement in working with processes and routines.
Here you will find wonderful colleagues, great care for one another, and a team that is quick to laugh. We are a small Child Health Center with only two nurses, but since we share premises with Järna Rehab and Järna Primary Health Care Center, there are many colleagues in a harmonious environment with a strong sense of community. Our professional colleagues in the other units include doctors, psychologists, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation coordinators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, dietitians, and medical secretaries. All with the same ambition – to be the primary health care center, rehab, and child health center with a big heart!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a competent and positive nurse with specialist education as a pediatric nurse or district nurse. We would prefer that you have previous experience working at a child health center. Great importance is placed on your personal qualities and your ability to contribute to an open and positive work climate together with your colleagues.
To succeed in the role, it is important that you can work independently, prioritize effectively, and have good collaboration skills with the rest of the team. Naturally, the family is always your focus, and you value good treatment both over the phone and in person.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
Employment and Application
This is a permanent position. A probationary period applies. The position is part-time (60–75%), but a setup with a shared position at the primary health care center to allow for full-time work can be discussed with the right candidate. We handle applications on a rolling basis, so apply today!
