Norshöjden is a specialized housing facility focused on dementia care, with 62 places located across 8 different wards.

Norshöjden is located approximately 3 kilometers from central Falun, in Norslund. It is a two-story building with beautiful surroundings and a large, lovely garden in the inner courtyard.

In the role of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. Your tasks include helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, answering alarms, and providing social interaction. Social interaction is a vital part of our work, ensuring that all our residents can live life to the fullest, for their entire lives. This can range from chatting, playing games, going on excursions, taking bike rides, or finding fun activities to do together. You also perform delegated tasks from licensed personnel, such as medication administration and training.

Job Description

The position is part-time (80%) and permanent, with a 6-month probation period.

The position starts from September 1, 2026, or by agreement.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• The certificate "Proof of Right to Use the Professional Title Nursing Assistant" from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Experience in elderly care and/or dementia care.
• Good computer skills.

To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings. You are good at building relationships and are service-oriented. You have a knack for planning and are a structured person. We work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you feel comfortable in this environment.

Before offering employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the police record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
