Your role with us

The tasks mainly consist of providing our customers with individual support and care, developing and maintaining abilities and communication with regard to functional impairment. You support the customers' participation in leisure and cultural activities, participation at all levels – individual, group, and societal – as well as self-determination and personal integrity.

You are a contact person (contactman), and in this role, you are responsible for ensuring that implementation plans are drawn up and followed up. Furthermore, you are responsible for social documentation according to current guidelines. In some cases, you perform medical tasks delegated by a nurse, or assist the customer with self-care. We are looking for someone who can work days/evenings/weekends and throughout the entire operational area.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a completed education from the Care and Nursing Program or the Child and Leisure Program. Experience working with people with functional variations is required for the job. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a support assistant, as well as if you have worked with care-related work and/or pedagogical work within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations. We would also appreciate if you have experience in contact person roles.

Since the work requires communication and documentation, we assume that you are computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience working in medical record systems such as LifeCare.

We are looking for you who are socially competent and have good teamwork skills, are stress-resistant, flexible, and find solutions in everyday life. You have a professional attitude towards everyone you meet in your work. Furthermore, you have the ability to plan and structure the work from a holistic perspective, can make independent decisions while respecting decisions made by others, and can perform work on behalf of others. As a person, you are sensitive to the customer's needs. You can work both independently and together with colleagues.

In the event of an employment offer, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) according to current legislation.

About Us

The operations of the Care Administration are directed towards the elderly and people who need functional support, as well as people who need home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the Assistive Technology Centre in Eastern Skåne.

Kristianstad Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
