Welcome to our highly regarded rural health center with approximately 6,500 registered patients! We offer a diverse operation including a district doctor's clinic, a district nurse's clinic, and specialized clinics for diabetes, blood pressure, heart failure, asthma/COPD, risk/addiction, and mental health. We also provide maternity and child health care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, a rehab coordinator, and a counseling clinic. We have a stable core staffing across all personnel categories.

With the nearest hospital 75 km away, we play a vital role for our patients – and you will become part of a team that makes a difference. We have access to X-ray facilities where delegated staff can perform examinations, allowing us to handle a wide variety of patient cases.

As a Clinic Assistant here, you will support the health center managers in personnel administrative work and be responsible for scheduling and payroll for all staff, collaborating closely with first-line managers, HR, and employees.

Examples of responsibilities and tasks:

• Payroll administration in the region's payroll system and ensuring schedules comply with current laws and agreements. Keeping up to date with employment types and regulations in collaboration with HR.
• Act as a link between employees, the payroll office, and management.
• Receive sickness notifications.
• Schedule planning for staff.
• Draft employment contracts together with the manager.
• Take meeting minutes and book meetings/rooms.
• Handle the health center's invoices.
• Overall responsibility for IT equipment and telephony.

Requirements:

• At least upper secondary education with a focus on economics or equivalent experience in payroll, including recent experience with independent payroll administration.
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing, and good knowledge of Office 365 or equivalent.

Merits:

• Vocational higher education (YH) in the payroll area or other education deemed relevant by the employer, along with experience in payroll administration within the public sector.
• Experience with the payroll system Heroma.
