About the role

Do you want a role where you can influence, create structure, and contribute to the development of future outpatient psychiatry in Dalarna? With us, you will have a meaningful and varied assignment where your work makes a difference - for patients, employees, and the continued development of the organization.

Outpatient Psychiatry Dalarna is located in eight locations in the county and has a common mission: to offer care and treatment to adults with mental illness, with the patient's needs and well-being in focus.

We are in an important development phase where the organization and working methods need to continue evolving to meet patients' needs and provide good, equitable, and sustainable care throughout Dalarna. Therefore, we are now looking for a Care Developer who wants to contribute with commitment, knowledge, and drive to this work.

With us, you will have a developing and varied job where you have the opportunity to make a real impact. You become part of an engaged context where we work together to strengthen quality, patient safety, and accessibility within outpatient psychiatry in Dalarna.

The place of work can be at one of the locations in Dalarna where we operate. The role includes the possibility of remote work when the job allows and by agreement with the manager. Much of our work is now digital, which provides good conditions for collaboration across the county.

We offer among other things a generous flex system, a wellness allowance of 2,000 SEK per year, and a workplace where development, participation, and collaboration are important parts of everyday life.

Responsibilities

As a Care Developer, you, together with a colleague, have a central role in the development work of Outpatient Psychiatry. You work closely with the operations manager and the management group, contributing with materials, analyses, and support in strategic matters. This can, for example, involve process mapping, risk and consequence analyses, follow-up, improvement work, and environmental scanning.

You are part of the outpatient team and work together with the management group to plan, implement, and follow up on current development and quality work. An important part of the assignment is to keep processes together, create momentum, and contribute to clarity in change work. You collaborate closely with managers, employees, and other operations, and in some development projects, patient participation may also be included.

The role also involves contributing to the planning and implementation of evidence-based working methods. You report to the operations manager, and since the operations are conducted at several locations in the county, travel is part of the job.

The assignment also includes the role of Patient Safety Representative. This means that together with colleagues, you support managers in working with deviations, patient board cases, and investigations in cases of suspected care injury. You also produce statistics and materials to support management's analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • have a university education in, for example, healthcare, social work, leadership, quality, organization, or other education that the employer deems relevant.
  • have experience from healthcare and an interest in development and improvement work.
  • have a valid B driver's license.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • knowledge and experience of similar assignments, change management, improvement knowledge, implementation, project management, supervision, or other development work.
  • experience from psychiatry.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be able to see the big picture and connections, create structure, and work solution-focused in a changing organization. You are good at collaborating, communicating clearly, and driving processes forward together with others.

We warmly welcome your application - we look forward to learning more about you, your experience, and what you want to contribute to our continued development work.
