We are now looking for a Strategic Buyer to join a leading player in the high-tech industry. Here, you will become part of an international operation where procurement is a strategic function with significant impact on the company's continued development and delivery capability.

As a Strategic Buyer, you will play a key role in developing and driving business and procurement strategies within technically advanced product areas. You are responsible for the entire commercial process – from strategy and supplier dialogue to negotiation, contracts, and long-term follow-up.

You will work closely with various parts of the business, including development, production, project management, and aftermarket, in an environment characterized by innovation, quality, and international collaboration.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement and sourcing strategies.
• Drive commercial dialogues and negotiations with suppliers.
• Establish, negotiate, and manage contracts in complex business cases.
• Lead and coordinate supplier collaborations together with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and capacity.
• Contribute to sustainable and long-term supplier relationships.
• Work strategically with total cost of ownership, risk management, and supply security.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• An academic degree in economics, engineering, or other relevant education.
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, tendering, or similar business-oriented roles.
• Experience in negotiation and contract management in complex organizations.
• Good understanding of strategic procurement, supplier development, and total cost perspective.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
• Meritorious: Experience from technology-intensive industries, such as defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or advanced production.
• Meritorious: Experience with international supplier collaborations.
• Meritorious: Understanding of project-based operations and complex supply chains.
