Job Description

We are looking for a Teacher/School Assistant for Furuboda Upper Secondary School.

If you want to make a real difference and support our students at Furuboda Upper Secondary School within the Natural Resources program (with specializations in animals and horticulture) in Yngsjö, as well as the IMV and IMY programs.

At Furuboda Upper Secondary School, we work to promote students' learning and personal development through close collegial collaboration and an active student health service to create good learning environments.

With your experience as a teacher/school assistant, you will work in the classroom together with the teaching teacher to provide the support, guidance, and stimulation that students need for their learning and personal development. If necessary, you may also meet with students individually to support and help them progress in their studies.

You meet each student based on their prerequisites and have good knowledge of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. This may involve supporting students both during lessons and in situations such as breaks or other social contexts. The work requires the ability to read people and act based on the needs you observe.

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) will be required before employment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a teacher/school assistant and can support students in the Natural Resources and IM programs. We would appreciate experience from working at an upper secondary school or in the later years of compulsory school.

We prefer that you have a social pedagogical education, preferably with a focus on pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant education. Experience in teaching and teaching-related work is meritorious, as is work in a social pedagogical context with social support. You are flexible and have a salutogenic approach.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You should be cooperative, flexible, solution-oriented, and have an easy time building relationships with people.
