ServiceNow Developer (Consultancy Assignment)

We are looking for an independent and highly competent ServiceNow developer at an expert level for an assignment with the Service Administration of Region Stockholm.

In this role, you will work with the development and maintenance of an older, locally installed (on-premise) ServiceNow environment. You will independently develop functionality based on business needs, participate in dialogues with internal stakeholders to verify and capture requirements, and contribute technical expertise for the purposeful further development of the platform. A key part of the assignment is knowledge transfer; you will mentor and guide junior resources within ServiceNow.

• Competence Level: System Developer at expert level (Level 5).

• ServiceNow on-premise: At least 5 years of experience working with ServiceNow in an on-premise environment.

• Certification: Valid Certified System Administrator (ServiceNow).

• Reference Assignment: A completed assignment of corresponding scope and complexity within a regional public organization, with documented experience of the ServiceNow platform. At least six consecutive months, completed at some point in the last three years.

• Language: Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

• Meritorious: Experience with large, complex regions (equivalent to Region Stockholm), older ServiceNow instances, as well as system maintenance in on-premise environments within the public sector.

• Start Date: Preliminary 2026-07-21.

• Duration: Until 2026-12-31, with an option to extend 2 × 6 months (latest until 2026-12-31 + 12 months).

• Price Indication: State your desired hourly rate in SEK (excl. VAT), which should include all overhead costs (per diems, travel and accommodation costs, etc.). The price is fixed for the entire contract period.

• Selection Process: Final evaluation takes place via an electronic review (approx. 30–60 min via MS Teams) the week after the final application deadline, where you will participate and answer questions regarding teamwork, strategic thinking, continuous learning, and self-leadership. Availability during that week is a requirement.
