Job Responsibilities

As a high school teacher, you will be responsible for teaching, class supervision, as well as mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. The work is carried out according to decided goals and guidelines. The role also includes mentoring and working together with your colleagues to create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus.

You challenge and support students so that they achieve good academic results, adapting your teaching to the needs and prerequisites of all students. The work is performed in collaboration with other educators, student health services, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

The high school is divided into program specializations. As a high school teacher, you will work in both work teams and subject teams, as well as individually, with a focus on student development.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• Teacher degree and teaching license with eligibility to teach at the high school level, specifically in Spanish and English
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of and experience with working with digital tools

Merits:
