About Us

Do you want to help develop the power systems of the future while contributing to a more sustainable society? Within our System Planning department, we work to ensure the safe and robust operation of E.ON's regional grid, while simultaneously developing tomorrow's working methods through data, digitalization, and smart analytics.

We are a team of 11 system planners in Malmö, and we are now looking for an experienced colleague who wants to combine advanced power system analysis with the development of future system planning.

Your Role

As a System Planner, you analyze and plan the operation of our regional grid – a complex power system where the ongoing energy transition places high demands on stability and flexibility. You conduct technical analyses, plan for safe operational solutions in cases such as planned outages, and collaborate closely with the operations organization to ensure secure and efficient electricity supply over time. You also work with issues regarding voltage quality, reactive power, and validation of connections from new electricity producers.

At the same time, you will play a key role in further developing system planning with a focus on automation and digital, data-driven solutions – where we hope you will want to make a difference.

Your Experience

We are looking for you who have a university or civil engineering degree in electrical power, energy systems, or equivalent, along with a few years of experience working within regional grids, national grids, operations, power system analysis, or similar fields. Experience with analysis tools, programming, data analysis, or automation is advantageous, as is experience with RfG, DCC, or other European network codes.

You are a curious and analytical person who enjoys understanding connections and finding sustainable solutions.
